At Home Alterations { old & new | cheap & beautiful | him & her | ups & downs }

Before and After

We've been in our first house for over a year now and along with planning a wedding we've been working on renovating every room in a 1.5 story 1920 bungalow. We've painted nearly every wall and refinished or re-carpeted every floor, and now we're in the final stages of adding artistic and decorative shine.

We're done with some rooms but still have a lot of work to do. Check out our finished projects below and check back soon to see what new rooms we've revealed!

  1. It looks like you have created a very nice home. I especially like how instead of changing the pink tile in the bathroom, you are working with it! But what did you do with the fern that was in the tub? (haha)

  2. I enjoy so much watching your house change.The two of you have done so much work. when we were young we did over half of the work on building our new house. It was hard work but it did pay off. When we moved it was wonderful to be able to get a decent price for our house.

    Aren’t plumbers, carpenters and other professional workmen wonderful. Every time we enploy one I get a bigger thrill seeing them get the work done than a beautiful sunset.

    Keep up the good work and keep us aware of the changes you make, it is so enjoyable to see the beauty you are creating for the future.

  3. Beautiful work! I like all the rooms, wish I had the time/money to do more on my house…this is inspiring!

  4. Your photos look like a house in a magazine! VERY NICE!!
